According to the practical experience in the design, construction and testing of the implemented project, the main characteristics and advantages of the stiffened cement soil anchor cable are summarized as follows:
(1) Anchor solid diameter is large (diameter up to300~500mm, while the hole diameter of the traditional anchor cable is generally150~200mm), high bearing capacity, small deformation of foundation pit;
(2) The hole formation and grouting are completed simultaneously, which can avoid the occurrence of hole collapse and shrinkage.
(3) In the construction of sandy soil rich in confined water, the stiffened soil-cement anchor cable can avoid water gushing and sand gushing in the anchor hole through the pressure soil-cement slurry in the anchor hole and the plugging measures at the orifice.
(4) The anchor plate can be set at the end of the stiffener to improve the bearing capacity.
