In the seminar, Professor Liu Quanlin introduced the research results and application experience of the technology design and construction method of prestressed prefabricated fish belly beam steel bracing, and shared the application results of prestressed fish belly steel bracing system in deep foundation pits across the country.

The prestressed fish-belly steel support system is composed of a series of standardized steel components and assembled with bolts. By applying prestress, the inner support system can control the deformation of the foundation pit and protect the safety of the surrounding environment. It is a fully recovered and reused prefabricated support structure. The technology has the advantages of short construction period, large construction space, high safety, low cost, green construction, energy conservation and environmental protection.

As the first use of this technology in Wuhan, Wuhan Tranquil Park project, the foundation pit surface area1Over 10,000 square meters, most of the excavation to the end and the construction of the bottom plate. The maximum horizontal deformation of the foundation pit is controlled in20mmWithin, effectively protect the safety of the road and pipeline buildings around the foundation pit. The advantages of the technology are verified in basement construction period, construction cost and excavation speed.
